These stamp pads are equipped with a white felt plate and laminated on the surface with fine cotton fabric.

This is a qualitative difference from the - common - inexpensive ink stamp pads,
which are offered with a cheap, soft sponge and undefinable Asian ink.

Drying time is highly dependent on the individual paper quality.
Absorbs into absorbent papers and is therefore partly quite fast drying.
