This is a qualitative difference from - usual - inexpensive ink stamp pads,
which are offered with a cheap, soft sponge and undefinable Asian stamp ink.

The drying time is highly dependent on the individual paper quality.
Absorbs into normal, absorbent papers and is therefore sometimes quite quick to dry.
